On Thursday, Dec. 8, Fairfield Prep celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a holy day of obligation recognizing the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role as the Mother of Jesus.
In honor of Mary's faith-filled leadership, Prep's Campus Ministry Team elevated the women members of the school's faculty and staff. Several Prep served as speakers, Liturgical Ministers and vocalists in the Liturgical Choir.
At the end of the Mass, Academic Dean Elaine Clark P’14 discusses how Mary’s impact as an example of faith and love is a model not just for women but for men as well. Watch an excerpt of Mrs. Clark's heartfelt speech alongside Science Intern Jessica Cuntrera's vocal performance.
