Prep welcomes new Faculty & Staff in 2022

Fairfield Prep is pleased to welcome to our skilled team three new teachers and one staff member. In addition to their advanced degrees and wealth of experience in their fields, we’re particularly proud that our newest hires all hold degrees or training from notable Catholic and Jesuit institutions, including Fordham University, the University of Scranton and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Italy.

Fairfield Prep is committed to its mission of caring for the whole boy, and our newest faculty and staff certainly embody that mission. 

Rinat Levy-Cohen

Rinat Levy-Cohen is a doctoral candidate in Learning Sciences at Fordham University, and holds a Masters in Bilingualism & Multicultural Education from Tel Aviv University and a B.Ed in English as a Second Language from Talpiyot College of Education in Tel Aviv. Rinat has a robust career in education, consulting and research in the Tri-State Area, having served as a teacher at Ramaz Middle School, a research assistant at Rutgers University, and is currently a research assistant at the New York Hall of Sciences in New York City. Rinat is Fairfield Prep’s new Director of Innovation.

Christopher Altieri ’95, P'22

Christopher Altieri ’95 holds a PhD from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy, and has achieved a lengthy career in print, digital and broadcast journalism. Chris has several years of senior editorial leadership at a number of outlets, including the Catholic Herald — where he was the publication’s first Rome Bureau Chief — Our Sunday VisitorAmericaFirst Things, the National Review and Crux, name a few. Chris is an expert on the Vatican, and has written three books. Chris teaches Social Studies.

Stephen Amnbrogio

Stephen Ambrogio is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with an MS in Computer Science. Stephen has served for 8 years in the field of Information Technology in school systems, working in support, infrastructure and networking. He was most recently a Senior Systems Analyst at Cooperative Educational Services (CES) and was previously a computer technician at the Westport Public Schools and a technology coordinator and computer teacher at the Diocese of Bridgeport. Stephen is Prep’s new Director of Technology.

Cassandra Kinskey-Lebeda

Cassandra Kinskey-Lebeda is an MS candidate in Data Analytics from Western Governors University and holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Scranton. She is also a graduate of Lauralton Hall. Cassandra’s recent focus is in computer science, where she has experience in multiple coding languages and data analytics. Previously, she served as a science teacher at CES, designing, planning and implementing curriculum for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. She additionally worked as a science teacher at schools in New Jersey and the Bronx. Cassandra is Prep’s new innovation teacher in the McLeod Innovation Center.
