Ronald DeRosa

Fairfield Prep is holding a three-day drive for the victims still recovering from Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

Prep is collecting emergency supplies for shelters in the Bahamas from Monday, Sept. 16 to Wednesday, Sept. 18. Items can be dropped off in the front lobby of Prep (see the list below).

All supplies collected will be taken to the Bahamian Consulate, which plans to ship them out on Saturday, Sept. 20.

We ask that all donations be delivered to Prep no later than Sept. 18 so we can keep to this important deadline.

The items in need for the shelters are as follows:

Packs of wash cloths
Soap
Toothpaste/toothbrushes
Travel size shampoo
Deodorant
Bug spray
Baby/kids Motrin
Clorox wipes
Baby formula and wipes
Socks
Flip flops
Underwear for men/women/children
Protein bars in cases for shipping protection
Children items: diapers, stuffed animals, games and Sippy cups.
