In honor of the Chinese New Year, Fairfield Prep held its the third annual Chinese New Year Celebration on Friday, Jan. 24.
Students gathered in the Brissette Gym for a series of cultural activities, including calligraphy, mahjong, tea tasting and the popular Chinese food sampling. The celebration highlights many aspects of Chinese culture in honor of the Year of the Rat New Year celebration on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The event was put on by International Student Advisor Mrs. Lina Gallinelli with help from Fairfield Prep's international students. The event was also sponsored by AIEP Host Families (Apex International Education Partners), our partnered international student recruiting organization and homestay provider.
