Fairfield Prep celebrated Chinese New Year with a celebration in the Brissette Gym on Thursday, Jan. 20.
Students enjoyed a number of cultural activities, including calligraphy, mahjong, ping-pong, tea tasting and the popular Chinese food sampling. The celebration highlights many aspects of Chinese culture in honor of the Year of the Rabbit New Year celebration on Sunday, Jan. 22.
The event was put on by International Student Advisor Mrs. Lina Gallinelli with help from Fairfield Prep's international students. The event was also sponsored by AIEP Host Families (Apex International Education Partners), our partnered international student recruiting organization and homestay provider.
