Prep Players to put on Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' Nov. 8-10
The Prep Players, Fairfield Prep's theatre group, is proud to announce its fall production, "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare at the Regina Quick Center for the Arts on Nov. 8-10.
In this classic comedy, our heroine Viola is separated from her twin brother in a shipwreck, and disguises herself as a boy to serve the Duke of Illyria. Wooing the Countess Olivia on his behalf, Viola is stunned to find herself the object of the lady’s affections. With the arrival of Viola's brother, and a rowdy bunch who play a trick upon the countess's steward, confusion reigns in this romantic comedy of mistaken identity. Prep Arts Chairperson Megan Hoover is the director.
The show runs in the Black Box at the Quick on November 8, 9 and 10. The show begins at 8 p.m. each evening and runs about 2 ½ hours with an intermission.
Tickets can be ordered by calling the box office at 203-254-4010.
