The Prep Players theatre group is thrilled to announce that it is back making magic with this year's spring production, Pippin.
This fall, we followed a young man on his journey to discovering that love is the greatest magic there is in our performance of Puffs. As so much in the world continues to be absolutely crazy, there is not a better theme for the year. In this spring’s adventure, Pippin, heir to the Frankish throne, is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great).
In the end, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the simplicity of moments that happen every day.
The show runs in the Kelley Theatre at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts on May 12, May 13 and May 14 at 8pm. Tickets can be ordered by calling the box office at 203-254-4010.
