Prep Players nominated for 6 Halo Awards

The Prep Players have been honored this year with 6 Halo nominations for the theatre group's fall production, The Birds.

Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury sends judges to high schools all over the state to evaluate the work that the students are doing in a variety of categories from acting to design. All of the nominations represent the excellent work of the whole group, even if it is an individual recognition.

"Each and every one of these nominations is a result of the work of the whole group, even if it is an individual recognition," said Theatre Director & Arts Chairwoman Megan Hoover." I think this year, that is best represented in our nomination for the Fearless Award. This award recognizes the cast for taking risks and supporting each other in that. The fact that others can see that makes me most proud."

The Awards Ceremony will be happening June 23, 24 and 25 via YouTube, according to the Seven Angels website.
