The Prep Players have been honored this year with 19 Halo nominations. Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury sends judges to high schools all over the state to evaluate the work that the students are doing in a variety of categories from acting to design. All of the nominations represent the excellent work of the whole group, even if it is an individual recognition. The works of high school theatre programs throughout the state will be celebrated on the May 29 at the Waterbury Palace Theater.
Director Megan Hoover praised the ensemble: "It means so much to me that people can see and appreciate the commitment and growth that I get to watch develop over the course of months. That all of it shines through in the two hours they spend on stage is a real gift. Thank you to all of you who have supported them in their work. I am so very proud."
