Dozens of Fairfield Prep musicians, stage performers, writers and fine artists were recognized during the 2021 Arts & Ideas Showcase on Monday, April 26.
During the extended flex period, all Prep students cycled throughout the campus to various performance and art displays in the Quad, the Student Life Center, the McLeod Innovation Center and the Brissette Athletic Center.
The day included a reading of the winner of the Writing Royale contest, and displays of fine arts created by students in visual and studio art classes. There were also live performances by the Blues Band, Jazzuits, String Orchestra, and members of the Fairfield Prep Players theatre group, who gave a sneak peak performance of the upcoming spring musical Little Shop of Horrors.
