Members of the Fairfield Prep Class of 2023 celebrated their graduation at Prep's 81st Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 26, 2023.
The ceremony was held at 10 a.m. in the Leo D Mahoney Arena where 202 graduates received their diplomas in front of family and friends. Hundreds of viewers also joined in by watching ceremony via livestream.
The commencement speaker was Brendan Coffey, SJ, former Fairfield Prep Regent and theology teacher. Brendan was officially approved for holy orders by the Jesuits East Province and will be ordained as a Deacon on October 21, 2023, in Oakland, California. He will later be ordained as a priest on June 14, 2024, at Fordham University in the Bronx. Nominated by his peers, John Mancini '23 delivered the student address to his fellow Prep brothers.

This year's graduates will matriculate to a number of prestigious colleges and universities, among them Brown University, West Point, the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, University of Notre Dame, Boston College, Villanova University, Fairfield University, Fordham University and the College of the Holy Cross.
