Dear Parents,

Good morning. With inclement weather approaching, I wanted to briefly review our cancellation and delay procedures. We will do our very best to announce decisions to delay or cancel by 6 a.m. as we look closely at the weather conditions in the town of Fairfield and the other towns from which we draw our students. It is ultimately your decision to determine if conditions in your area are safe for your son to make his way to school. 

In the event of a cancellation, delay or early dismissal, a message will be sent via the Blackboard Connect system. Blackboard Connect allows us to contact you by email, cell phone or land line. If you would like to update your contact information, please contact our database manager, Iwona Kolotylo, with any changes at ikolotylo@fairfieldprep.org.

Information will be posted on our website at fairfieldprep.org. You may also call 203.254.4200 for a recorded message regarding the status of a school delay or cancellation. An announcement will also be made on WICC 600 am radio. Please note that whenever the town of Fairfield delays its opening, there will be no town bus service to Prep in the morning. The buses will run as scheduled in the afternoon. Train shuttle buses will begin their trips from the Fairfield station at 9:00 am on delay days.
