Dear Prep Families,
We at Fairfield Prep are excited to welcome our young men back on campus for the start of the 2021-22 academic year. We have increased our curriculum offerings and are introducing enhanced opportunities that will focus on innovation and student creativity in the new McLeod Innovation Center.
To continue our commitment to the Jesuit Mission and dedication to cura personalis, care of the whole person, we have expanded the Prep Guidance Department to include an additional freshman counselor. New guidance and academic support offices have been constructed in the Academic Center, which has been remodeled for maximum student usage.
In anticipation of the start of the new academic year, please review/download Important Information for the 2021-22 School Year, which includes Orientation details plus links and forms relevant to the start of the school year.
NOTE: We continue to urge every student who is eligible to get a vaccine if you have not done so already. Thank you to all the families who have filled out our survey and sent proof of vaccination. The higher our vaccination rate, the better-positioned Prep will be to offer the full range of our rich Jesuit educational offerings without interruption. If you have not filled out the survey, or wish to send updated info, please submit Prep's Vaccination Status Survey as soon as possible.
In case you missed it, here's a link to our recent letter with updated Health Guidelines for daily school activities. We await final state guidelines for masking in schools. If guidelines become mandates, Fairfield Prep, as a division of Fairfield University, will comply fully with all public health orders in the State of Connecticut as we have since the beginning of the pandemic.
We hope you enjoy these remaining weeks of vacation, and we look forward to greeting our new and returning students, building upon the great spirit of the Prep Brotherhood.
May God bless you and your loved ones. +AMDG
