Area businessman and company founder Ralph "Skip" Sather spoke about a lengthy career in marketing to the Fairfield Prep Entrepreneurship Institute on Thursday, March 4.
Sather founded the marketing consulting company Connecticut Consulting Group which he and four partners grew to more than 300 people and whose client base included many Fortune 500 companies. His background before that included roles as a marketing manager and product manager at Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.
"Skip graciously volunteered his time to talk to the students about marketing, branding and challenges of building companies," said Mr. Tom Shea '73, director of the the Entrepreneurship Institute.
Sather is also the father of English Teacher & Coach Matt Sather '93 and Dr. John Sather '88, as well as grandfather to Axel Sather '22.
