Directors of diversity, service collaborate in honor of Black History Month

Director of Diversity Ruben Goodwin and Christian Service Director Ashley Woodworth recently sat down for a quick discussion about a new collaborative project in honor of Black History Month.

Mr. Goodwin and Ms. Woodworth discussed the creation of five new service opportunities directly related to the values espoused by Martin Luther King Jr. The five opportunities are: access to education, food and security, community revitalization, caring for our common home and pandemic safety.

"Part of our Mission here at Fairfield Prep is to recognize the value and dignity of all people. We hope to deepen the impact our students have on the marginalized, undeserved and excluded in our community and around the world."

As part of this service initiative, Prep recently completed a very successful school supplies drive, collecting more than 3,000 items and distributing them to local schools in Bridgeport.
