The Class of 2024 participated in its Freshman Retreat on Friday, March 12, with the entire class on campus for the day-long event.
The day kicked off with an opening ceremony, consisting of a faculty talk, a friendship talk held by student leaders and small group conversations. From there, students rotated throughout the campus in various large venues — McLeod Innovation Center, the Student Life Center and Grauert Field — for several activities including witness talks, group games, a Letters to Self activity and a scavenger hunt.
The Office of Christian Ministry announced this month the return of in-person retreats, with the freshman gathering being the first one.
