Students learn Christian Leadership skills!

The Office of Campus Ministry sponsored a student leadership retreat from June 14-15 at the Nazareth Spiritual Life Center in Monroe, CT . Twenty one students engaged in leadership activities to learn and improve their leadership potential. There were discussions on leadership styles and what it means to be an Ignatian Christian Leader. There was also an opportunity to learn how to facilitate small groups effectively, how to give a talk, and planning and leading effective meetings.

A big thank you to the faculty and staff who contributed their time and talent to make the day a success. This group included Mr. Cashman, Ms. Cyefku, Mr. DeRosa, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie DiCenso, Mr. Gualtiere, Mr. Stockdale, S.J., and Mrs. Tema. The group also welcomed back Prep Alum, John McKissick ’09. If you have questions regarding this experience or would like more info regarding our August 11th leadership retreat, please contact Mr. Gualtiere at
