Prep Alums Raise funds and Spirits on Reunion Weekend

Three Alumni Bands came to play at the Georgetown Saloon.  Their video footage can be viewed by clicking the pictures in this posting.  Over the course of the night Prep was able to raise close to $1,000 for its Service Mission Trips.  A portion of this money will go to continue the work our students did in Ecuador this past April.

The evening opened with Roamer's set and got the evening going in the right direction.  The band fired up the crowd with their great rhythm and blues sound.  Click the image to hear Prep’s own Matt Sather take over the lead vocals for a few jams.  After a short musical interlude by Rob Panish ’98, Argyle Tuesdays took the stage just before 10 PM.  This typically all Prep alumni band filled its drum spot with a guest appearance and brought some guest vocalists with them for the evening.  Watch the clip where Sean Driscoll ’98 takes the stage in true Blues Brothers fashion.  The night was capped off with a reunion of Prep’s ’74 and ’67 band mates from Crash Comet & the Cruisers.  The fellas took us all the way back to the songs we love and miss with their great Doo Wop songs for the 50’s.
The night closed with a free for all jam with different band members before the bar closed.  Thank you for all those that came out to support this great cause and kick off a wonderful reunion weekend.
