67th Commencement details announced

Rev. Terrence Baum, S.J., selected as Fairfield Prep graduation speaker

The administration of Fairfield Prep is pleased to announce Fr. Terrence Baum, S.J., as the featured graduation speaker at the 67th Commencement Exercises, which will take place on Sunday, June 7, at 1 p.m. in Alumni Hall on the campus of Fairfield University. Fr. Baum is the president of Rockhurst Jesuit High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

Fr. Baum is a current member of Fairfield University's Board of Trustees and is Chair of the Prep Committee of the Board of Trustees. As a member of the Chicago Jesuit Province, he has spent the majority of his Jesuit life in secondary education. He holds a BS from Xavier University, a Master of Divinity from Weston Jesuit School of Theology, and a MS in Educational Administration and Supervision from Fordham University. Fr. Baum has additionally studied philosophy, theology and education at the University of Detroit and Loyola University of Chicago.

Fr. Jeffrey von Arx, S.J., President of Fairfield University, will also be a special guest at the graduation ceremony.
