Ignatian Companions: A Parent-to-Parent Evening of Reflection
Fairfield Prep parents are invited to attend an evening of conversation in which a panel of former Prep parents will reflect and share their "lessons learned" regarding adolescence and their sons' experiences.
The event is March 19, 2019, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Student Life Center, and it is titled “My Kid is not Perfect. My Life is not Perfect: What Does this Say About Me? Where is God in This?”
The Ignatian Companions event has been planned by the FP Parent Formation Team in collaboration with Dr. Donna Andrade, Dean of Mission and Ministry, and is the first formal mission outreach program for FP parents to support them in accompanying and paralleling their sons’ spiritual and experiential journeys. The FP Parent Formation Team is comprised of: Elaine Clark, Janet Demakos, Juany Fumai, Elliott Gualtiere, Marcy Haley, Julie Pollard, and Sue Stone.
In addition to the parent panel (below), the program will also include an opening prayer by Juany Fumai, a short video, context presentations by Julie Pollard and Donna Andrade, small group sharing, and Sue Stone will lead an Ignatian Examen to close the program.
