3rd Quarter Report Cards

3rd Quarter Report cards will be posted on NetClassroom (accessed through Prep Connect) on Friday, April 5 at 11:30 a.m. The viewing window into NetClassroom will re-open on Monday, April 8.

 

Enrollment and Re-enrollment

Enrollment and Re-enrollment for the 2019-20 school year will begin mid-April. Further instructions will be coming from the Business Office.

Prep Arts & Ideas Showcase

A great evening showcase, featuring: Music performances by the Jazzuits and String Orchestra, acting scene performance by the Prep Players, Short Story finalists' readings, Studio Art exhibit PLUS food trucks!

Course Selection for 2019-20 Academic Year

The course selection process for courses for the 2019-20 academic year is underway. Please see this important webpage.

Scholarship Opportunities

Many scholarship opportunities are posted in Naviance on our Scholarship List. All needed documents can be arranged with counselors. Seniors should navigate to your Family Connection account in Naviance. Once there, look to the top right and choose Colleges, and then at the bottom of the drop down choose Scholarships and Money.

 

College Admissions Decisions 

Seniors are asked to inform counselors of their admissions outcomes and to update their Naviance college list. Seniors are advised to maintain good character and to stay strong academically in the 2nd semester. Final transcripts are reviewed closely by colleges. Prep counselors are ready to assist with making final college decisions.

School Happenings

Graduation Tuxedo Fittings for Seniors

On Wed., April 10, Men's Wearhouse will be at Prep to fit our soon-to-be graduates for their graduation tuxedos. Reps from Men's Warehouse will be taking measurements between 8 a.m.-12 noon (Periods 1-4). Students will be sent according to a schedule. Reminder: There is no additional cost to families. The tux rental and shoes are included in the Graduation Fee, which is part of tuition.

The Adult Faith Formation team is sponsoring a weekly Lenten Reflection posted here. Each week, a link to the readings and a brief reflection written by different FP parents will be shared. As Ignatian Companions on this Lenten journey, we look forward to deepening our faith together.

Summer Immersion Trips

Apply for Appalachia and Jamaica Immersions

Immersion trips are a wonderful experience for Prep students.

  • Appalachia Trip is only for students in the Class of 2021. Dates are June 14-21, 2019.
  • Jamaica Trip is open to students in the Classes of 2020 and 2021. Dates are July 6-13, 2019.

Mother-Son HeroBox Lenten Service Project

There are three ways to participate: donate supplies for the boxes, pack the boxes, and sponsor the cost of postage for the box.
