Facilities
Fairfield Prep teams practice and perform at multiple state-of-the-art athletics facilities on the campus of Fairfield University. Prep football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, rugby and swimming & diving athletes enjoy access to all of the college-level amenities offered at these locations.
Prep is also breaking ground on the new Barron Center for Arts & Athletics, a new major facility at the Prep campus. This new facility will include a gymnasium and the new Shea Center for Strength & Conditioning.
Rafferty Stadium
Rafferty Stadium is the home of Fairfield Prep football, soccer and lacrosse. It is also used occasionally for track practice.
Mahoney Arena
The Leo D. Mahoney Arena, the newest athletic facility on the Fairfield U. campus, is an 85,000-square foot, 3,500-seat multi-use space. It is also the home of the Fairfield Prep basketball and wrestling teams.
RecPlex Pool
The Fairfield U. RecPlex pool is the home of the Prep swimming & diving team.
Grauert Field
For 40 years, Lt. Hans T. Grauert Field has been the home of Fairfield Prep Rugby. In 2023, the field was converted from a grass field to a turf field, with Prep being the primary investor of $1.3 million in the project. The space was dedicated in 2024 and it serves as a practice field and game field for the Prep rugby team, as well as a practice field for other Prep teams. The field also serves as the base of the school's new summer Rugby Camp.
Barlow Field
Located at the corner of Round Hill and Barlow Road, Barlow Field serves as a practice field for Fairfield Prep football.
Don and Chris Cook Field
Located next to Rafferty Stadium, Don and Chris Cook Field (formally - Alumni Diamond) is the home of the Fairfield Prep baseball team.
