Affording Prep

A Fairfield Prep education will have a transformative impact on your son’s future. At Prep we are committed to forming future leaders from a wide range of backgrounds independent of their financial circumstances. With our generous tuition assistance program, the Financial Aid Office strives to accurately assess financial need and to equitably distribute grants to those families who demonstrate such need. For the 2018-2019 school year, Fairfield Prep awarded $2.9 Million in tuition assistance, and the average award offset tuition by 50%.

This is an approximation based on the information from the 2016 tax year for the 2018-19 school year. Aid to families with higher AGHI (i.e. $200k+) usually reflects multiple tuition obligations. These figures change each year, but typically 34% of our students receive financial aid from an estimated budget of $2.9 million.

Tuition 2019-20

Tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year is $21,475.

Tuition for International Students for the 2019-20 academic year is $27,000.

Additional Fees

Textbooks: Between $250 and $500 each year for e-textbooks.

Shuttle Bus to Fairfield Railroad Station: $300 This is for students commuting by train. Note: It does not include Metro-North monthly student discount commuter pass.

How to apply for Financial Aid

Fairfield Prep is now accepting financial aid applications for the 2019-20 academic year.

Families looking to submit a financial aid application can do so by visiting our Financial Aid Process page. Details on the process as well as deadlines based on grade can be found on this page.

Financial aid is administered through the secure FACTS Management portal. Applicants are required to create an account and the fee to apply is $30.

Please be sure to submit your complete financial aid applicant by the applicable deadline, as priority in awarding financial aid is assigned to those financial aid applications that are submitted by the deadline. Late financial aid applications risk a reduced or zero award, regardless of need.

Divorced or Separated Parents

Divorced or separated parents applying for financial aid are required to send a copy of their court-approved divorce settlement (or separation agreement) to
