Custom Class: hero-image

At Fairfield College Preparatory School, we believe in educating the whole person. As a college preparatory school, our teachers and faculty seeks to transform young boys into men of intellectual competence. That means challenging them with a rigorous, hands-on education where our students learn both inside and outside of the classroom. Boys read and write; calculate and draw; form opinions and then defend them. They're taught by faculty who love what they do and have chosen to do it in our all-boys catholic high school. At an all-boys atmosphere, students find they can concentrate on their studies, without the distraction of social pressures. To learn more about our academic programs or if you'd like to schedule a tour of our private high school, we encourage you to contact our admissions office today! We are proud to welcome students throughout Fairfield, Westport, Stamford, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Trumbull, Darien, Bridgeport, New Canaan, CT, and the surrounding Connecticut communities.

Curriculum

Prep students are able to take several courses, including an array of AP courses.

College Guidance

Guidance classes are planned to help meet the academic and personal needs of students at each level, freshman through senior.

iPad Program

Begun in 2014, Prep continues to teach students using the iPad as an instructional tool in education.

Technology in the Classroom

Through our 1:1 iPad program, students are instructed using the most up-to-date interactive learning tools.

Because we're part of Fairfield University, Prep students have access to resources unrivaled by any other school, including to the University's expansive library and to the high-powered research databases to which the University subscribes.

AP Courses

In 2018, Fairfield Prep expanded its AP course offering from 15 to 21 by offering Prep students the opportunity to take online AP courses through the Arrupe Virtual Learning Institute.

Now, students are taught both in the classroom at Prep and online by Ignatian educators and students from Jesuit schools across the country. Learn more at the AVLI page.
