Boughton Academic Center & Library

Situated on the second floor of Arrupe Hall with an inspiring view of Long Island Sound, the Boughton Academic Center & Library offers Prep students an inviting, comfortable venue for research, study and academic assistance.Through their campus-wide Prep accounts, Prep students can access a powerful array of research databases subscribed to by Fairfield Prep.

Although a Prep student will find that most of his research needs are easily met in the Boughton Academic Center & Library, he may also access the 370,000 volumes of Fairfield University's outstanding Dimenna-Nyselius Library, located on campus.

Peer Tutors

National Honor Society members are required to serve as peer tutors. Overseen in this role by the Director of Student Activities, peer tutors are available by request.

Fairfield University Interns

Each semester a group of Fairfield University seniors is assigned to the Boughton Academic Center & Library to complete their internship. Under the direction of the Director of Academic Support Services the interns are available to assist Prep students with time management, organizational skills, discipline-specific tutoring, etc.
