Honors & Advanced Placement

Fairfield Prep offers Honors level courses for students in all grade levels and Advanced Placement (AP) courses to eligible sophomore, junior and senior students both on campus and online.

On campus, Prep students have the opportunity to take 15 AP courses in Social Studies, Foreign Language, English, Science and Mathematics (see the full list of Honors and AP courses below).

In 2018, Fairfield Prep expanded the course offerings from 15 to 21 by offering six additional online courses: AP Art History, AP Music Theory, AP Psychology, AP World History, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics*.

Fairfield Prep partnered with the Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy (JVLA) to offer these six AP courses, as well as a number of additional Honors courses. Through the JVLA, Prep students will be taught by teachers from Jesuit high schools along with students from other Jesuit high schools across the nation.
