Mathematics Teacher

As an Ignatian Educator at Fairfield Prep, this teacher will be expected to:

  • Teach five sections of Math

  • Participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program

  • Work collaboratively with members of the Mathematics department and attend all department and faculty meetings and professional development opportunities

  • Assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community

  • Commit to developing young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth

  • Teach students in a 1:1 setting with iPads

 

Qualifications for Position:

  • Candidates must have experience teaching in a high school setting

  • Candidates must have experience with, or be familiar with, the Jesuit ideals

  • Candidates must hold at least a BA in Math and / or Secondary Education; MA preferred

Humanities Teacher

  • Participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program

  • Work collaboratively with members of their department and attend all department and faculty meetings and professional development opportunities

  • Assist in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community

  • Commit to developing young men to become intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth

Director of Major Gifts

Fairfield College Preparatory School, a Jesuit, Catholic all-boys high school, seeks a dynamic and strategic Director of Major Gifts to lead our Major Gifts team. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Advancement, this pivotal role will drive the school's major gift fundraising efforts, manage and mentor two frontline gift officers, and support our ambitious campaign goals.

Teaching at Fairfield Prep provides a wonderful opportunity to guide young men on their journey of growth intellectually, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.  As members of the faculty, we are called to a unique vocation to model the life of Jesus Christ through the lens of St. Ignatius of Loyola and the Society of Jesus, to challenge and help the young men in our presence to be the best versions of themselves in all that they do.  Teaching and mentoring goes beyond the classroom to the playing fields, to our extracurricular clubs and to the relationships that grow over time.  

The boys become “our boys” and we all feel pride as they grow closer to young men who are intellectually competent, loving, religious open to growth and committed to doing justice in the greater community and the world.  The bonds that develop at Fairfield Prep last for a lifetime.
