The Prep JV hockey team is off to a flying start, with impressive wins over Ridgefield, Xavier, Hamden and ND-West Haven.
In honor of the families affected by the senseless violence at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the JV hockey team united with the Hamden team after a recent game for a group photo. The teams held a poster, which read: "#wearenewtown Love is louder than violence"
The team is dedicating its season to our neighbors in Newtown, their children and their brave teachers.
On Saturday December 29, following the game against ND-West Haven, the two teams united for this photo in honor of our neighbors in Newtown.
On January 2, the Prep and ND-Fairfield teams blended as friends in hockey for a post-game photo.
