Every year the Spanish Honor Society sponsors a sock drive to help those in need at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Those people who are fortunate to stay in a shelter for the nights are often turned out in the early morning with no place to go until the shelter allows them back in at night. They are frequently outdoors in the most frigid conditions. The drive collected hundreds of pairs of socks, which will be appreciated immediately. Ms. Billie Brooks, Spanish teacher and moderator of the club, thanks the Prep Community for your kind contribution.
