Entrance Examination

Applicants to the class of 2017 are required to sit for Fairfield Prep's entrance examination, which will be administered at Fairfield Prep on the dates indicated below. Please note that examinations taken elsewhere will not be accepted. (Fairfield Prep administers its own version of the High School Placement Test published by Scholastic Testing Service.)

ENTRANCE EXAM DATES AND TIMES

First Administration: Saturday, October 13, 2012, 8:30am - 12:00 noon

Second Administration: Saturday, November 10, 2012, 8:30am - 12:00 noon. (Note change of date due to post-hurricane recovery efforts.)

MAKE-UP DATES: Wednesday, November 28, 2:45 - 5:30pm, and Tuesday, December 4, 2:45 - 5:30pm. To register for the make-up exam, send an email to admissions@fairfieldprep.org. Indicate in your email on which of the two make-up dates you plan to come. (Be sure to create an online Prep Admissions Account if you have not already done so.)

Early Decision applicants must take the exam on October 13.

Regular Decision applicants may take the exam on either date.

Please report to the main vestibule by 8:15 the morning of the exam. Bring two No. 2 pencils; calculators are not allowed.

Parents, drop your son off and arrange with him for pick-up at noon. We regret that we do not have accommodations for parents to wait on-campus during the exam.
